Editorial questions and corrections
The address below is for editorial questions about the research and articles published on this site. Relevant messages include corrections, clarifications and verifiable primary material that could improve the history of BitMarket.eu. A correction can concern a date, quotation, event, technical description or link, provided the claim can be checked against a source.
To submit a correction, include the exact page URL and identify the passage in question. State the proposed correction clearly, then link to the original source and give its publication date. If an online source has moved, include its current location and enough information to identify the original publisher. This makes it possible to compare the published wording with the evidence and update the record accurately. An explanation of why the source supports the change is useful when the connection is not immediately clear.
Historical scope
BitMarket.eu was the exchange described in this site's 2011–2013 historical record. The later BitMarket.pl exchange was a separate operation; information about one should not be used as evidence about the other. Messages should make that distinction explicit when a source or correction mentions “BitMarket” without its full domain.
Questions about what can happen to balances after an exchange failure may be answered by the article on creditor claims and repayment procedures. That article is general historical research, not a case-handling service and not a statement about an individual former balance.
Sensitive information and former accounts
Do not send passwords, account credentials, private keys, seed phrases, personal identity documents, transaction records containing personal data or details from an old trading account. None of that information is needed to review an editorial correction. If a document is relevant as a historical source, provide a public link to the original publisher rather than a personal copy whenever possible.
The current BitMarket.eu site is an independent editorial project. It does not possess user data, accounts, transaction histories or funds from the former exchange. The contact address therefore cannot recover an account, trace a former balance, process a creditor claim, return funds or provide support for any matter tied to a past BitMarket.eu trading account.
General inquiries
General questions about the scope of the site are welcome when they relate to its published material. Promotional submissions, requests to trade bitcoin and proposals that do not identify a relevant page or documented historical issue fall outside this contact channel. A concise message with a descriptive subject line will help distinguish an editorial inquiry from unrelated mail.
